Like artists in any other medium, quilt artists can achieve many different effects using fiber, surface design, embellishments and other techniques. To demonstrate the versatility of quilt art and to illustrate how quilt artists communicate their message, every Q&A member created a self-portrait. Each of these pieces conveys the artist's unique view of herself in her environment using a variety of materials and styles to accomplish her objective. These works will exhibit with Q&A shows, where possible, so that viewers can enjoy and appreciate how versatile fiber can be as an artist's tool.  All works are 8 1/2" x 11".
