Susan Tilt

Personal Website: www.spirit-too.com

Susan is intrigued by phrases and ideas derived from everyday life that spark the imagination, and with the help of the Spirit, emerge as fiber images and abstractions. Making art is truly a gift to her.  Susan says "It has deep meaning and it is what I love to do and will do for the rest of my life.  I want others to feel free to enjoy my art in their own way, perhaps in a different voice than the one I hear or use, and that's part of the joy."

In addition to fiber sculptures and contemporary quilts, Susan designs and handcrafts liturgical vestments and accepts commissions.

Susan's art was shown as part of Prelude 2006 (www.ecva.org) during General Convention of the Episcopal Church held in Columbus, Ohio, and was featured in the July 2006 issue of Episcopal Life.
